Bystanders perform CPR on the victim in a San Antonio crash
SAN ANTONIO, TX – One man was hospitalized Wednesday after his SUV careened into a tree in a residential neighborhood north of downtown San Antonio.
According to KSAT, the collision occurred when the driver was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed within the 1200 block of Oblate Drive at about 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses pulled the man from the vehilce and began giving him CPR until emergency services arrived. Officials believe the victim was having a medical emergency while driving that may have caused the crash.
Officials have not released any updates regarding the condition of the man involved in the crash as of Thursday night. The official cause is still under investigation.
