Car crashes into hotel, killing two
HOUSTON, TX – According to sources, two people were killed after a car crashed into a hotel on Monday morning.
The car went off the road and crashed into the Super 8 Motel in northern Harris County near the North Freeway at around 1:45 a.m.
Investigators concluded that the vehicle flipped over on its side before slamming into the building.
It is unclear whether the two victims were staying at the hotel or in the car. The motel manager said both were in the sedan.
None of the employees in the hotel were injured, although a receptionist was at the front desk when the incident occurred.
The motel sprinklers prevented the fire from the accident from spreading.
The building suffered extensive damage.
