Construction worker dies after falling four stories in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Officials in Austin are looking for the cause of a four-story fall that resulted in the death of a construction worker Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. Friday at a construction site on the 2500 block of Montopolis Drive in South Austin. Austin- Travis County EMS pronounced the victim deceased upon their arrival at the scene.
Information on the identity of the worker killed in the crash or the cause of the fall has not yet been made available to the public. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide that information as it is released.
