Injured hiker hospitalized after an accident on the River Place Trail
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency services in Travis County responded to a land rescue situation on the River Place Trail resulting in one person being hospitalized Thursday afternoon.
According to the official Twitter page of Austin-Travis County EMS, the incident occurred along the trail near 4988 River Place Boulevard at about 1:15 p.m.

One person extracted from the trail and transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Details regarding what may have caused the accident have yet to be released.
