One dead after crash near Austin Airport
AUSTIN, TX – A male pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle along U.S. Highway 183 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Friday night.
According to the Austin American-Statesman, the crash happened along U.S. 183 shortly before 11:30 p.m. Paramedics preformed CPR on the injured man but their efforts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene to render assistance. No further information on the circumstances leading up to the crash have been released as of Monday night.
