One person injured after being trapped in Hwy 290 crash
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after being trapped in the wreckage of a collision on E Highway 290 last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 8500 block of the 290 service road just before 10 p.m. when at least one vehicle crashed.
One person was trapped in the wreckage for about fifteen minutes while authorities worked to extricate them. The victim, whose identity was not revealed in the report, was declared a trauma alert, then taken to Dell Seton with potentially serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The circumstances of the crash have not been revealed at this time.
