San Antonio teen hospitalized after bicycle vs. car accident
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A boy in his teens was transported to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding his bike on the North Side Thursday night.
According to KSAT, the cyclist was struck within the 400 block of West Mulberry Avenue, near the intersection with San Pedro Avenue, at about 10:40 p.m.
Officials believe the boy might have failed to stop at a red light before he was hit. The driver stopped to render assistance to the boy, who was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
No charges have been filed against the driver in the crash as of Friday evening.
