The accident was reported at about 3:19 p.m. in the westbound lanes of SH-290 near George Bush Street, according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.

Multiple injuries reported after North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin responded to a collision that resulted in three hospitalizations late Sunday morning.

The incident occurred within the northbound lanes of State Highway 130 near the Parmer Lane off-ramp around 11:45 a.m., according to CBS Austin.

Motorist severely injured in Steiner Ranch crash

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency services have reported every injury resulting from a single-vehicle crash near Steiner Ranch Sunday afternoon.

Victim identified in fatal Research Blvd. crash

AUSTIN, TX –  Investigators with the Austin Police Department have identified the man killed in a north Austin crash earlier this month.

According to KXAN, the incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. within the 9100 block of Research Boulevard on September 15th.

Police say a 2016 Ford Escape driven by 38-year-old Austin Boggus left the roadway and crossed the median before crashing into a concrete sign. Boggus was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.

An investigation into what may have caused Boggus to lose control of his vehicle remains underway.

Firefighters pull woman trapped after colliding with North Austin retaining wall

AUSTIN, TX – Officials with the Austin Fire Department and EMS saved a woman who was trapped in a pickup truck six feet off the ground Monday night.

The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when the woman drove through a fence and collided with two retaining walls at the Studio 6 motel near I-35, according to KXAN. The truck was wedged between the walls and dangling at a 45-degree angle with the woman inside.

Firefighters worked quickly to secure the vehicle in place using chains. They were able to free the woman and transport her to a local hospital where she was treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash. An investigation into what may have caused the accident is underway.
