Collision reported near Lady Bird Lake

AUSTIN, TX – Officials have reported delays resulting from a collision just southeast of downtown Austin Thursday night.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred within the 1100 block of Pleasant Valley Road near the intersection with South Lakeshore Boulevard at about 8:45 p.m.

Details regarding the events leading up to the crash are still under investigation. No injuries have been reported as an immediate result.

Rush-hour collision reported in northeast Manor

MANOR, TX – Officials with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision northeast of Manor during Monday evening’s rush-hour.

The crash happened within the 11800 block of Old Highway 20 at just before 5:50 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic report page.

Authorities have not reported any injuries as a result of the collision as of yet. However, this story is still developing.

At least two killed in Travis County crash

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency services in Travis County have reported multiple fatalities resulting from a collision in Northeast Austin Friday night.

According to the official Twitter page of Austin- Travis County EMS, the crash occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. within the 7220 block of  FM 973. Initial reports were of two vehicles involved and one person dead at the scene.

Officials discovered a second fatality as a result of the crash. Information regarding what may have caused the crash or whether any other injures were sustained as a result has not yet been released.

Officials respond to residential crash in North Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Officials with the Austin Police Department responded to a collision in the Windsor Park neighborhood late Tuesday evening.

According to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page, the incident occurred shortly after 7:3o p.m. within the 2500 block of Rogge Lane near the intersection with Coventry Lane.

Two North Austin collisions reported within 20 minute period

AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services in North Austin have reported two separate collisions occurring within a very short period of each other late Tuesday night.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the first collision occurred at about 10:04 p.m. near the intersection of East Parmer Lane and Harris Ridge Boulevard. The second crash happened on a residential street just a few blocks away within the 12900 block of Heyerdahl Driver.

Accident causes rush-hour lane closures on SH-71

AUSTIN, TX –South Austin Police closed off a portion of State Highway 71 following an accident during Thursday evening’s rush hour.

The incident happened shortly after 6:00 p.m. at 910 East Ben White Boulevard near the SH-71 on-ramp, according to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page.

Luckily no one was hurt in the crash. Although, the incident caused a major rush hour traffic delay throughout Thursday evening. All lanes along E. Ben White Boulevard and SH-71 have since been reopened.

Police respond to urgent crash on Research Blvd.

AUSTIN, TX – Police in North Austin have responded to crash along US Highway 183 near North Lamar Boulevard Monday evening.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the crash happened within the 8200 block of Research Boulevard shortly after 9:20 p.m.

It is unclear what may have caused the crash, or whether anyone was injured. Research Blvd remained open following the incident. However, police are urging motorists to proceed with extreme caution until the investigation can be complete.

Pedestrian injured in Northeast Austin accident

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in North Austin near Interstate 35 Friday morning.

Emergency Services responded to the crash shortly before 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of East Rundberg Lane and Middle Fiskville Road, according to the Austin American Statesman.

Austin-Travis County EMS performed CPR on the victim upon their arrival at the scene. Once the individual was stable, they were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center.

Car crashes into North Austin home following a gunfight

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin responded to reports of a vehicle crashing into a house along a residential Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred near 1200 Bonnie Brae Street at around 3:30 p.m. The crash resulted from two occupants inside a vehicle engaging in a gunfight and losing control of the car, according to Fox 7 Austin. The suspect driving the car was pronounced dead upon paramedics arrived at the scene. The passenger inside the vehicle was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have not made any arrests connected to the crash as of yet. Luckily no one inside the home was injured at the time of the crash.

Rush hour crash blocks busy North Austin intersection

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in North Austin were forced to close at least one lane along a busy intersection on North Lamar Boulevard.

The accident happened on the North Lamar Blvd. off-ramp towards West Anderson Lane at 6:33 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.
