AUSTIN, TX – According to a tweet from the Austin-Travis County EMS, a pedestrian has been killed in a crash on S Congress Avenue near William Cannon Drive.

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, Jesse Gomez Jr. was killed in a crash on Highway 71 after reportedly walking onto the roadway.
The accident took place at around 6:18 a.m. When Gomez walked onto the roadway, causing cars to swerve around him. He was struck and killed by a Ford Expedition. Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver who struck the man stayed at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police. Charges are not expected at this time.

The collision occurred in the 9900 block of Lake Creek Parkway, on the underpass, just after 1 p.m. According to ATCEMS, a bystander was possibly performing CPR on the victim when the call came in.
An adult victim was taken to the hospital in Round Rock with injuries that were potentially life-threatening. Their identity has not yet been revealed.
ATCEMS advised travelers to avoid the area, as traffic delays were likely.

AUSTIN, TX – According to Fox7, authorities have identified the pedestrian killed in a November 29th crash on I-35.
The accident took place near Middle Lane at around 12:44 a.m. 19-year-old Ramon Caal Cho was hit and killed while crossing the roadway. A grey 2012 Chevrolet Camero struck him. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

AUSTIN, TX – A person is dead after they were struck by a car in north Austin late last night, according to a tweet by the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened around 10:50 p.m. outside a shopping center near the Tech Ridge area, at 12036 N I-35 frontage road.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, died at the scene.
The driver was not reported as injured.

AUSTIN, TX – According to KVUE, one person has died and four have been injured after a vehicle struck a construction zone on Mopac yesterday.
The accident took place in the southbound lanes, not far from Parmer Lane. Just before 10 p.m., four pedestrians were struck and a motorist was pinned in their vehicle.
The car’s driver passed away following the accident and four construction workers were critically injured.
