AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, reports of a crashed plane near the Pennybacker Bridge yesterday were inaccurate.
The plane was reportedly designed to land on water and had done so safely. However, the Austin-Travis County EMS did send personnel after receiving reports of a crash.
The plane later took off from the lake.

Initial reports have stated that a small plane crashed into the lake. The crash reportedly took place at around 5 p.m. This story is still developing. It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the crash. This story will be updated if more information is made available.

LAGO VISTA, TX – Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety have reported three injuries resulting from a single-engine plane crash in northwest Austin Monday night.
According to the Associated Press, the plane crashed while approving the Lago Vista Airport on a trip from Brownsville which was about 370 miles away.
Two people in their 60s and one in her 30s were all rushed to local hospitals in stable condition. No updates regarding their status have been made available as of yet.
Details regarding the cause of the crash are still being investigated.
