AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, a driver was killed after sideswiping a rideshare vehicle and crashing into a parked car and utility poles.

The accident took place on San Gabriel Street near W 29th Street at around 3 a.m. on February 7th. The driver, who has not been identified was hospitalized and died several hours later.

Cyclist killed in crash on Slaughter Lane identified

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, police have identified a cyclist killed in a crash on Slaughter Lane on February 3rd.

58-year-old Samuel Stephens was struck by a Chevy Cruze near Brodie Lane at around 5:11 p.m. Stephens was hospitalized following the crash and passed away three days later.

Driver arrested for possible DWI that caused a man to fall to his death

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, a man has been arrested for driving while intoxicated during the recent snowstorm and causing the death of another driver.

Victor Sverdlin, 33, crashed into a stopped vehicle on an overpass of US-290 near Mopac on the nigh of February 11. The crash caused the other vehicle’s driver, Eric Anthony Torres, 33, to fall from the overpass.

Torres was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Sverdlin was arrest for driving while under the influence.

Authorities identify pedestrian killed in crash

AUSTIN, TX – According to the Austin American-Statesman, authorities have identified a pedestrian killed earlier this month in a crash at West Ben White Boulevard and Menchaca Road.

65-year-old Steven James Ingram was hit by a black Lexus as he tried to cross the street at around 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene about 40 minutes later.
