AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, a man has been arrested for driving while intoxicated during the recent snowstorm and causing the death of another driver.
Victor Sverdlin, 33, crashed into a stopped vehicle on an overpass of US-290 near Mopac on the nigh of February 11. The crash caused the other vehicle’s driver, Eric Anthony Torres, 33, to fall from the overpass.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Sverdlin was arrest for driving while under the influence.

AUSTIN, TX – According to the Austin American-Statesman, authorities have identified a pedestrian killed earlier this month in a crash at West Ben White Boulevard and Menchaca Road.
65-year-old Steven James Ingram was hit by a black Lexus as he tried to cross the street at around 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene about 40 minutes later.
The driver involved in the accident remained at the crash scene. No charges are expected in this incident.
