Pedestrian struck by vehicle and killed in I-35 N crash

AUSTIN, TX- A pedestrian walking on the I-35 North southbound roadway was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night, according to KXAN.

The collision occurred near Parmer Lane in the 12200 section of the highway at approximately 11:00pm. An individual was walking on the highway when they were struck by a vehicle. The roadway was shut down as officials arrived, and another crash occurred in the traffic caused by the accident.

The victim was declared dead at the scene of the crash. We will be monitoring for further information as it becomes available.

Officials identify victim in September 5th crash on Cameron Road

AUSTIN, TX- The victim killed by the September 5th pedestrian crash on Cameron Road has been identified by officials, according to KXAN.

The 53-year-old victim, Kimberly Allen, was struck by an SUV while crossing the roadway near the 5400 block of Cameron Road on the night of September 5th. The accident occurred at approximately 10:58pm.

She was pronounced dead shortly after at Dell Seton Medical Center.

This is an ongoing investigation. The driver has cooperated with officials. We will be monitoring for further updates.

Vehicle struck and injured pedestrian on West Ben White Boulevard

AUSTIN, TX- A pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle late Sunday, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

At approximately 10:03pm, a pedestrian was struck near the 2300 block of West Ben White Boulevard. Officials arrived at the scene of the accident and found the victim to be critically injured. The victim was transported to South Austin Medical Center for treatment shortly after.
