Suspected drunk driver charged following fatal Manor crash

MANOR, TX – According to Fox7, a driver has been charged with murder for his role in a fatal crash on US-290 at FM 973.

The crash took place on November 11th at around 1:40 a.m. A Manor police officer witnessed the crash and stated that a pickup truck struck a sedan at full speed.

The pickup’s driver, Candelario Flores, 40, attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended. Flores has been charged with murder for his role in the crash. This is his fourth arrest for driving while under the influence.

The passenger in the sedan was killed in the crash, while its driver was hospitalized.

Rush-hour crash causes delays in North Austin

MANOR, TX – Officials in North Austin have reported delays resulting from a rush-hour crash Monday evening.

The collision occurred just after 6:30 p.m. within the 8600 block of East Parmer Lane near the Manor Expressway, according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. Although, the collision caused major delays for commuters throughout Monday evening’s rush-hour.
