Child hospitalized after North Austin pedestrian crash

AUSTIN, TX – Emergency Services in North Austin have transported a minor to the hospital following a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash Monday evening.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the accident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. near East Braker Lane and Tom Adams Drive.

One child victim was transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center following the crash. No information regarding their condition has been made available. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any further details as they emerge.

Pedestrian injured in Northeast Austin accident

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in North Austin near Interstate 35 Friday morning.

Emergency Services responded to the crash shortly before 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of East Rundberg Lane and Middle Fiskville Road, according to the Austin American Statesman.

Austin-Travis County EMS performed CPR on the victim upon their arrival at the scene. Once the individual was stable, they were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center.

North Austin police identify pedestrian killed along I-35

AUSTIN, TX – Law Enforcement officials in North Austin released the identity of the man killed while attempting to cross Interstate 35 near Braker Lane on Friday, July 10th.

According to the Austin American Statesman, the victim was 23-year-old Roberto Luna Pantoja. EMS attempted to save Pantoja but were unable to.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. Charges are not expected to be filed against that individual at this time.

Child in critical condition after pedestrian-vehicle crash in North Austin

AUSTIN, TX. – A child is in critical condition after a pedestrian-vehicle crash in North Austin on Saturday evening.

CBS News Austin reports that the crash occurred at 8:04 p.m. in the 9400 block of Grouse Meadow Lane, just off of Rundberg Lane in North Austin. EMS transported the child to Dell Children’s Medical Center with critical life-threatening injuries. At this time, it is not known how old the child is or what led to the accident.
