SAN ANTONIO, TX – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department are searching for two teens responsible for crashing a stolen vehicle south of downtown Friday morning.

According to KSAT, the suspects stole the vehicle from a female driver at a gas station near I-37 and Fair Avenue at about 6:00 a.m.

Moments after the suspects got away with the vehicle, police located the crashed vehicle near the intersection of West Southcross Boulevard and Tupper Avenue. A witness said the suspects ran a stop sign then clipped a pickup truck before coming to rest on the sidewalk.

Luckily, no one was hurt as a direct result of the crash. However, two vehicles sustained significant damage.

Both suspects escaped on foot. No information regarding their identities has been released.
