Travis County Sheriff’s office seeking hit-and-run suspect
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Travis County Authorities are continuing their search for the suspect in a hit-and-run crash that hospitalized a Sheriff’s deputy.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on June 12th. Travis County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisting in an unrelated accident on FM-182 when the suspect sped through the police blockade and struck a deputy, according to KXAN. The deputy was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.
Travis County officials believe the vehicle in question to be a 2000-2001 Infiniti i30 with damage likely on the hood or the rear passenger door on the driver’s side. Authorities are currently seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle or suspect.
