Two firefighters seriously hurt in fleet accident in Burnet County
OAKALLA, TX (BURNET COUNTY) – An accident at a fire department in Burnet County caused serious injuries to two of the firefighters yesterday, according to KXAN.
The accident happened on Saturday morning in Oakalla, which is located north of Austin, about 13 miles southwest of Killeen, when the Oakalla Volunteer Fire Department faced a fleet accident while responding to a call.
Two of the firefighters were seriously injured as a result.
The OVFD canceled an event scheduled for that evening as a result.
The identities of the victims and the cause of the accident have not yet been released.
