Two teenage girls injured in North Lamar car accident
AUSTIN, TX – Two teenagers suffered possible injuries during an accident in the North Lamar area earlier this week, according to a report by MyAccident.org.
The crash happened on I-35, north of Rundberg Lane, at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, when the front-right of a green 2004 Honda collided with the back-left of a green 2011 Mazda.
The driver of the Honda, a 17-year-old girl from Texas, sustained what were likely minor injuries in the crash, as did her passenger, a 16-year-old girl.
The other driver, a 26-year-old Texas woman, was not reported as injured. A 5-year-old boy and a 1-year-old boy who were riding in the same vehicle were also uninjured.
All parties were properly restrained in a safety device when the crash occurred.
The weather was reported as being cloudy at the time of the crash.
