Unidentified body found in home destroyed by fire
BELTON, TX – An unidentified body has been found in a house that burned down Saturday morning, according to KCENTV.
The house was located near the 4600 block of Toll Bridge Road. Witnesses reported the fire at around 3:39 a.m. on May 16.
When fire crews arrived, they encountered flames bursting through the roof.
A preliminary investigation be the Belton Fire Department listed the cause of the fire as accidental/undetermined.
The body was discovered in the rubble and was sent to the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
