Victim identified in fatal multi-vehicle crash in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department have identified the individual killed in a collision on I-35 Tuesday afternoon.

According to KENS, the incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. along an I-35 access road near Thousand Oaks Drive.

Police say 31-year-old Simon Spectre died when the brakes on a tractor-trailer failed, causing the truck to collide with the Honda Civic Spectre was driving through the intersection.

Spectre’s Honda Civic was pushed into another driver’s Honda Fit. That individual was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Their condition remains unknown at this time.
