Woman seriously injured during two-vehicle crash on Burleson Rd
AUSTIN, TX – A woman is suspected of having been seriously injured during a collision on Burleson Road on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision occurred at 8261 Burleson Road, west of Highway 183, at 12:18 p.m., when the 35-year-old driver of a beige 2003 Mercury failed to maintain a single lane.
The front-left end of the Mercury collided with the front-left quarter of a green 1996 Ford being driven by a 59-year-old woman.
The woman sustained injuries that were likely to be serious.
The other driver was not reported as injured.
