1 reported dead following crash on Viewpoint Drive
AUSTIN, TX – According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter account, one person has died during a car crash on Viewpoint Drive.
FINAL 5200-5206 VIEWPOINT DR: #ATCEMSMedics have obtained a Deceased On Scene pronouncement of the single occupant of the vehicle. It is believed that this cardiac arrest was medical in nature & not traumatic as a result of the collision. EMS no longer on scene. No further info.

The accident took place this morning at around 10:05 a.m. It is currently believed that the patient died as a result of cardiac arrest, not crash trauma.
