Man Arrested After Crashing Into Four Cars, One Officer

A man was arrested after crashing into four vehicles and injuring a police officer, according to a February 15 article by Statesman.

The collision happened on Thursday, at the 1200 block of Colorado Street and at the intersection of Guadalupe and West 12th Street. 46-year-old Eugenio Flores Olivares crashed through three vehicles in Colorado Street before striking a cruiser with an officer in it at the intersection.

Nevertheless, he was charged with aggravated assault on a public servant, a first degree felony, and criminal mischief. He was placed in the Travis County Correctional Complex with bail set at $10,000 for criminal mischief and $50,000 for assault.
