SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man was killed after collided head-on with a VIA Metropolitan Transit Bus early Monday morning.
According to My San Antonio, the collision occurred on the East Side within the 5700 block of Foster Road at about 6:00 a.m.
Police say Jasper Richardson crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and ran head-on into the VIA bus. He was pronounced dead by officials at the scene.
The driver of the bus remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges are expected to be filed at this time.

CONVERSE, TX (BEXAR COUNTY) – Fifteen people were taken to the hospital in an accident involving a charter bus on Saturday in Converse, east of San Antonio, according to KSAT.
The accident happened in the evening, sometime before 6:30 p.m., near the intersection of Schuwirth Road and Farm-to-Market Road 1604.
The charter bus, carrying 14 members of a church group, attempted to make a turn while ignoring a posted stop sign. Another vehicle then collided with the bus, T-boning it.
All 14 occupants of the bus were taken to the hospital, as was the single occupant of the car. The identity and condition of the victims are not currently known.
Police have deemed the cause of the crash as accidental.

LIVE OAK COUNTY, TEXAS – KHOU reports that a bus traveling from Houston Mexico was involved in a head-on collision with a passenger vehicle at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The accident took place on U.S. Highway 59 three miles south of George West.
The bus was traveling south when a Chevrolet sedan traveling north crossed the center line for unknown reasons and struck the bus head-on.
The driver and sole occupant of the Chevrolet was transported to a hospital in Corpus Christi by HALO-Flight where he was listed in serious condition.
The bus was occupied by 20 people including the driver. One passenger was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Beeville. Other passengers on the bus were treated for minor injuries.
