Crash hinders traffic in downtown Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Officials in downtown Austin were forced to close at least one lane within a busy intersection following a Thursday night crash.
The accident happened near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West 6th Street shortly before 10:10 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.
Information on the number of vehicles involved in the crash or if anyone was hurt as a result has not yet been released.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area throughout Thursday night as delays and closures are likely throughout Thursday night.
