Crash reported on I-35 near downtown Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police responded to a crash on Interstate-35 just a few blocks east of the Texas State Capitol Monday night.
According to the KXAN Austin traffic report page, the crash occurred at 8:50 p.m. on I-35 southbound near the East Avenue cross-street.
No information regarding how many vehicles were involved in the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result have been released as of yet. However, this situation is still developing.
Delays are likely on I-35 southbound throughout Monday night until the crash can be cleared from the road.
