Doctor Gravely Injured After Ambulance Crash
A doctor was injured after he was struck by an ambulance, according to a February 9 article by KXAN.
The incident happened on Saturday morning, on Lamar Boulevard. Dr. Tobin Lim was riding his motorcycle when he was allegedly struck by an Austin-Travis County EMS ambulance. While the ambulance was carrying a patient, its sirens were not turned on. Unfortunately, Dr. Lim suffered femur and arm injuries due to the incident. The medic units involved in the crash have been taken out of service and are no longer providing care.
