Five children, one adult injured in two-car rollover accident
AUSTIN, TX – Five children and one adult were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday night that involved a total of 11 people, according to the official Twitter account of Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the 4300 block of South US Highway 183 and involved two vehicles, one of which had rolled over in the crash.
One person was declared a trauma alert during the accident, and a total of six people, including five children, were taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Five others refused treatment at the scene, for a total of eleven people affected in the accident.
There is no information available at this time regarding the identities of the victims or what led to the accident.
