Intoxicated driver goes through barrier during protest
AUSTIN, TX – KXAN reports an intoxicated driver drove into oncoming traffic near a protest outside APD headquarters on Tuesday night.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., a KXAN crew covering the protest caught the incident on camera, as the driver crashed though a barrier and almost struck a television reporter.
The driver was arrested by Austin police. No one was injured in the reckless driving incident.
