Motorcyclist killed, three injured in crash in Houston
HOUSTON, TX. – Authorities are investigating the cause of a motorcycle-vehicle crash that killed a man in Houston on Friday.
According to the Houston Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. at 3800 Colgate Street. A white Toyota Venza was reportedly traveling through the intersection of Colgate and Park Place Plaza when it collided with a white Yamaha motorcycle. The 29-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota and three other occupants, a 60-year-old male driver, a 60-year-old female passenger, and a 7-year-old male passenger were all taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
