One person dead after semi-truck and pickup collide on I-35 in N Austin
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed after a truck accident on I-35 early this morning in the North Lamar area, according to KXAN.
The accident happened near Rundberg Lane and Braker Lane at about 2:30 a.m., when a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler truck collided.
The driver of the pickup may have been traveling in the wrong direction when the crash happened.
One person died at the scene as a result of the crash. Their identity was not immediately released.
Authorities closed the interstate near Braker and Rundberg as they investigated the collision.
