Person injured in Lake Travis boating accident
POINT VENTURE, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY) – A person was taken to the hospital following a boating accident in the Lake Travis area Friday evening, according to the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 18200 block of Lakepoint Cove when a swimmer was hit by a boat propeller.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were deemed to be potentially serious.
