AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained life-threatening during a pedestrian accident on Airport Boulevard last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at the intersection of E 40th Street and Airport Blvd at 9:29 p.m., when one person was struck by a vehicle.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was declared a trauma alert. The victim was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of severe, life-threatening wounds.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.

Austin, TX – Traffic on an entry ramp connecting Interstate 35 and Airport Boulevard came to a halt following a crash on the exit ramp Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred on the I-35 northbound ramp towards Airport Blvd. north of downtown Austin, around 5 p.m., according to KXAN.
Information regarding what may have caused the crash has not been released. Police are advising commuters to find an alternate route to Airport Boulevard throughout Wednesday evening rush hour.
