Three injured in rollover crash near Mansfield Dam

AUSTIN, TX – Three people were injured and required hospitalization after a single-vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of RM 620 and Low Water Crossing Road, the Austin American-Statesman reports.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded to the call shortly after 1 p.m. They arrived on the scene to find at least one person ejected from the vehicle, whom they took to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. The individual was said to be in serious condition.

Two other people were also taken to local healthcare facilities but their conditions remain unknown.

Crash closes busy South Austin intersection

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin were forced to shut down a busy intersection towards the end of rush-hour Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred on Slaughter Lane at its intersection with Palace Parkway between Manchaca and First Street, according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page. No word regarding what may have caused the crash, or if any injuries were sustained as a result, has been released yet.

Police are advising drivers to avoid this portion of Slaughter Ln. as closures and delays are likely throughout Wednesday night.

Two injured following crash in East Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital after being involved in a crash east of downtown Austin Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Austin American Statesman, the accident occurred at the intersection of Seventh Street and Springdale Road around 1:23 p.m.

Two patients were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with what authorities believe to be non-life-threatening injuries. No information regarding how the crash may have transpired has been released as of yet. We will provide those details if they become available at a later time.

Crash closes North Austin road near I-35

AUSTIN, TX – Austin-Travis County Emergency Services responded to a late afternoon crash, forcing them to shut down a busy North Austin road Tuesday.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the incident occurred along West Breaker Lane near the intersection with Georgian Drive just before 3:30 p.m.

No word on if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash has been released as of yet. However, officials recommend motorists avoid this portion of W. Breaker Ln. throughout Tuesday evening rush hour while the accident is investigated and cleared from the road.

East Austin crash injures three

AUSTIN, TX – Officials near downtown Austin responded to a crash that sent three people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Chicon Street and East Seventh Street, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page.

Two victims were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries while a third was transported with minor injuries. No word on what caused the crash to take place or the condition of those involved has been made available as of yet.

Collision shuts down road Southeast of Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in Austin responded to a reported collision in a commercial center off of South Highway 183 Monday afternoon.

Mid day crash causes traffic jam in South Austin

AUSTIN, TX – South Austin officials reported an accident on West Ben White Boulevard that slowed traffic to a halt Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened between 11:30 am. and 12:00 p.m. near at the intersection of Frontier Trail and West Ben White Blvd. outside of the Ben White Animal Hospital, according to KXAN,

The crash caused a major traffic jam at the intersection while it could be investigated and removed from the road. It has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally. No information regarding what may have caused it or the condition of those involved has been made available yet.

Collision causes delays on South Lamar Blvd.

AUSTIN, TX – South Austin Police reported at least one lane of South Lamar Boulevard has been closed following a crash Tuesday afternoon.

The wreck happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of South Lamar Blvd. and Goodrich Avenue. Information regarding how many vehicles were involved in the crash has not been released. The crash scene is still active as of 6 p.m., according to KXAN.

No injuries have been reported. However, Austin Police advise against traveling on this portion of South Lamar Blvd as delays are likely throughout Wednesday evening.

Rush hour crash at Austin City Hall

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in downtown Austin reported an accident near busy downtown street adjacent to City Hall during Tuesday morning rush hour.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident happened at about 9:00 a.m. along the 100 block of Lavaca Street near the First Street Bridge northbound.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. However, the incident did cause delays in traffic throughout the morning and into early afternoon Tuesday.

Collision reported near Walter E. Long Park

AUSTIN, TX – Austin emergency services are reporting a collision Northeast of downtown early Monday evening, according to the Austin- Travis County traffic report page. 

The accident occurred along Bloor Road at the north end of Walter E. Long park near the intersection with Texas 130 Toll frontage road. Authorities have not released any information regarding the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result.

This portion of Bloor Rd. near TX 130 will likely be shut down while the collision is investigated and cleared from the road. Officials are advising motorists to take an alternate route when traveling to and around the park throughout Monday evening.
