One person critically injured in motorcycle vs. car crash in St. Johns area

AUSTIN, TX – One person was critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Duval Street in the St. Johns neighborhood last night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened on Duval Street and E St. Johns Avenue at 8:17 p.m., when a motorcycle and another vehicle collided.

One person was declared a trauma alert, then taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash and the identity of the victim were not immediately available.

AUSTIN, TX – One person was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on Alpine Road yesterday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.


The crash happened on E Alpine Road and S Congress Avenue at 3:21 p.m., when a car and a motorcycle collided.

One adult victim was declared a trauma alert, and then was taken to South Austin Medical Center with severe, life-threatening wounds.

AUSTIN, TX – According to tweets from the Austin Travis County EMS, one person has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash on Pleasant Valley Road.


The accident took place yesterday at the intersection with E St Elmo Road at around 5:43 p.m. The motorcycle reportedly crashed into a pole. The driver was hospitalized with critical life-threatening injuries.

UPDATE: Authorities identify victim in fatal motorcycle crash on SH-130

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, authorities have identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash on SH-130.

The accident took place at around 8:35 p.m. on April 8th when the motorcycle left the highway and the rider was ejected. 24-year-old Eric Strait was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The crash occurred north of US-290. Further details have not been released at this time.

20-year-old motorcyclist possibly hurt in crash on 24th St
