2 people reported hurt in multi-vehicle crash on I-35 in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, TX – Two people were reported injured following a multi-vehicle collision on I-35 in Georgetown earlier this week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident happened on I-35 near Williams Drive at 2:43 p.m. Monday, when a white 2017 Jeep, a white 2016 Ford, and a white 2015 Ram collided.

The driver of the Ford, a 57-year-old woman, was reportedly as possibly injured, as was the driver of the Jeep, a 28-year-old woman.

The occupants of the Ram were not hurt in the crash.

There was no word on the cause of the collision.

1 dead, 4 severely injured after multi-vehicle rollover crashes on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and four other people were hospitalized following a series of related crashes on I-35 early this morning, according to KXAN.

The accident happened on I-35, near 51st Street, at about 1:55 a.m., when a total of four vehicles crashed.

One of those vehicles overturned, ejecting multiple people in the process.

Three people were taken to Dell Seton with critical, life-threatening injuries. There, one of the victims succumbed to their wounds.

An additional two people were brought to the same hospital with severe wounds.

Three people refused transport at the scene.

The identities of the victims and the cause of the crashes were not immediately released.

One person killed after being ejected during crash on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed during a multi-vehicle collision early this morning in north Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision occurred in the 7400 block of northbound I-35, near the St. Johns neighborhood, just before 2:30 a.m. this morning, when multiple vehicles collided.

One person was ejected during the crash. The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, died at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities closed the roadway in the area for investigative and cleanup efforts.

Austin woman possibly injured after multiple vehicles collide on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – An Austin resident sustained possible injuries during a multi-vehicle accident on I-35 on Tuesday morning, according to MyAccident.org.

The crash occurred in the Park 35 area on N I-35, near Tech Ridge Boulevard, at 11:12 a.m., when three vehicles collided.

The front of a white 2015 Dodge crashed into the back of a gray 2008 Honda, which then was pushed into the rear of a black 1997 Honda.

The 47-year-old driver of the gray Honda, a woman from Austin, sustained possible injuries as a result of the accident.

The 62-year-old operator of the black Honda, a man from Austin, and the 35-year-old Leander woman driving the Dodge were not reported as injured.

The weather was clear at the time of the accident.
