AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, police have identified the pedestrian killed in a crash on Airport Boulevard.

The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Raymond Cipple. He was struck by a Dodge 350 while he was crossing the road on October 19th. Cipple was pronounced dead at the crash scene.

The accident took place at around 8 p.m. The vehicle’s driver stayed at the scene of the crash and did not appear intoxicated.

Pedestrian hospitalized following accident on Cameron Road near Anderson Lane

AUSTIN, TX – According to a tweet from the Austin-Travis County EMS, a pedestrian has been hospitalized following an accident on Cameron Road near Anderson lane.

A pedestrian was reportedly struck at around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has been taken to Dell Seaton Medical Center.

Police searching for suspect who struck a Travis County Sheriff’s Deputy

AUSTIN, TX – According to Fox 7, police are searching for a suspect who struck a Travis County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The accident took place on McNeil Drive near Parmer Lane at around 9:21 a.m. this morning. The driver of a grey sedan reportedly swerved into a deputy who was directing traffic in a school zone.

The suspect then fled the scene of the crash. Police are now looking for a grey Lexus sedan.

The deputy sustained severe injuries in the crash.

UPDATE: Police identify pedestrian killed in crash on Burnet Road

AUSTIN, TX – According to CBS Austin, Police have identified the pedestrian killed in an accident on Burnet Road on Saturday, October 10th.

The accident took place at around 2 a.m. when 52-year-old George Grant walking on the roadway. A Ford F-150 struck Grant. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The truck’s driver fled the crash scene. Police have yet to identify a suspect but believe that the truck likely has driver’s side damage.

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, a woman has been arrest following a fatal pedestrian crash that took place on FM 812 on Tuesday.

The accident took place when 63-year-old Francisco Aviles struck 41-year-old Stephanie Lunt at around 7:44 p.m. Aviles fled the crash scene. Lunt was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Aviles has been charged with failure to stop and render aid result in death.

Pedestrian killed in auto collision in NE Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in North Austin Tuesday morning.

According to CBS Austin, the collision occurred shortly after 8:50 a.m. near the intersection of Cameron Road and Ferguson Lane just north of Little Walnut Creek.

Paramedics rushed the injured pedestrian to the hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead. No information regarding their identity has been released, pending notification of family members.

Officials say the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.

Pedestrian critically injured in South Austin collision

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital following an accident on South Congress Avenue late Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the incident occurred at the intersection of Ramble Lane and South Congress Avenue at about 3:20 p.m.

Paramedics transported one adult patient to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center to be treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.

Victim identified in fatal North Austin pedestrian collision

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities with the Austin Police department have released the identity of a man killed in an auto vs pedestrian crash in April, according to KXAN.

58-year-old Sawn West was walking with another individual on  Interstate 35 north of U.S. Highway 183 at about 10:30 p.m. on April 20th when he was struck by a truck traveling northbound.

West was pronounced dead at the scene. The second individual involved did not sustain any injuries. The driver of the truck cooperated with police at the scene and is not facing any charges.

Victim identified in fatal South Austin pedestrian crash

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities with the Austin Police Department identified the female pedestrian killed in a South Austin collision in early July.

According to KXAN, 71-year-old Charlotte Dukes was struck by the driver of a Honda Civic within the eastbound lanes of Stasseney Lane near the intersection with Mira Lane on July 10th.

Dukes was hospitalized for 20 days before succumbing to her injuries on July 30th. The driver involved in the collision remained on the scene of the crash and continues to cooperate with the police.

No word on if any charges will be filed in connection to the incident has been released as of yet.
