AUSTIN, TX – Four people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle overturned on the Mopac Expressway yesterday afternoon, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened in the 5200 block of northbound Mopac Expressway N at 3:45 p.m., when a vehicle crashed and overturned.
At least one person was trapped within the wreckage for nearly 30 minutes.
Three people were declared trauma alerts and were taken to the hospital in Round Rock with possibly severe injuries.
An additional victim was transported to the hospital with non-critical wounds.
The cause of the crash is not available at this time.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to expect heavy traffic delays.

The accident happened in the 3700 block of Todd Lane at 1:45 p.m., when a single vehicle crashed and rolled over onto its side.
One person was partially ejected from the vehicle and declared a trauma alert. They were taken to St. David’s South for the treatment of serious injuries that were possibly life-threatening.
Three other adults and two children were taken to the same hospital, all with non-critical wounds.
Bystanders at the scene were reportedly able to help upright the vehicle.
Authorities advised travelers to avoid the area and to expect heavy traffic delays.

AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after an accident in west Austin that briefly trapped two people inside yesterday evening, according to a tweet published by the Austin-Travis County EMS.
#ATCEMS, @AustinFireInfo & @OakHillFire are on scene of a Rollover Collision at SOUTHWEST PKWY / BARTON CREEK BLVD (17:48). Initial reports of a 2 vehicle collision, 1 vehicle rolled, patients were briefly pinned inside. All patients have now been extricated, more info to follow.

The accident happened near the Barton Creek Habitat Preserve, at the intersection of Barton Creek Blvd and Southwest Pkwy at 5:48 p.m. when two vehicles collided.
Two people were briefly trapped within the wreckage before being extricated by emergency staff.
One adult victim was taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. It is unclear at this point if the victim was one of the two people pinned in the crash.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.

The accident happened in the 8800 block of Thunderbird Rd near Hwy 290 just after 4:45 p.m. when at least one vehicle rolled over an unspecified number of times.
One person, who was possibly ejected from the vehicle, was taken to St. David’s South for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
Two other adults were taken to the same hospital with injuries that were considered to be potentially serious.
Additionally, a child was taken to Dell Children’s with non-critical wounds.
Authorities did not release the identities of the victims or the cause of the crash.
