Person hospitalized after being ejected from vehicle on Bastrop Hwy

AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after being ejected from a vehicle during a collision on Bastrop Highway last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.


The crash happened in the 600 block of Bastrop Highway at 8:17 p.m., when a vehicle crashed and overturned.

One person was ejected from the vehicle in the collision. They were declared a trauma alert, and then taken to Dell Seton with possibly serious wounds.

The identity of the victim and the cause of the crash are not available at this time.

One person pinned after SUV goes over concrete wall on Hwy 290

AUSTIN, TX – One person was pinned within a vehicle when it crashed and overturned on Highway 290 early this morning, according to the Austin Fire Department.

The collision occurred in the 4800 block of Hwy 290 W, just after midnight, and involved a single GMC Yukon XL SUV.

While the circumstances of the crash are unclear, a photo from the scene showed the SUV over the side of a concrete wall and on its roof.

One person was pinned within the wreckage as a result. Their current condition is unknown, but crews were working on rescuing them early this morning.

Two people hurt in Oak Hills single-vehicle crash

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle pin-in crash in southwest Austin early this morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision occurred in the West Oak Hills area, at the intersection of W Highway 290 and Circle Drive, at 1:37 a.m.

A single vehicle crashed, causing two people to be briefly pinned within the wreckage.

The first victim was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The second victim sustained possibly serious wounds, and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The identities of the victims and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
