AUSTIN, TX- An accident involving an overturned truck and a fuel spill on the US 183 northbound Wednesday evening caused traffic delays, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported at approximately 6:54pm near the intersection of US 183, State Highway 130, and State Highway 45 SE. The roadway was closed so officials could clean the fuel spill and address the wreckage from the overturned truck. No information about potential injuries has been released.

AUSTIN, TX- An 18-wheeler crashed into a car and jack-knifed Friday afternoon on US 290, causing one hospitalization, according to KXAN.

Austin Police officer seriously injured in FM 969 tractor trailer collision

AUSTIN, TX- A tractor trailer collided with an Austin Police Department officer in a patrol vehicle on FM 969 and critically injured the officer early Wednesday, according to KVUE.

The collision occurred at approximately 2:00am, when a tractor trailer making a U-turn near Decker Lane hit the patrol vehicle responding to an urgent incident. The officer was transported to an area hospital shortly after with injuries deemed to be life-threatening. The road in the area of the accident remained closed for hours after the accident, only opening up around 10:00am.

Overturned recycling truck in South Austin causes delays

AUSTIN, TX- A recycling truck overturned on South Austin’s Loop 360 highway and caused closures in the center lane on Friday, according to KXAN reports.

In the northbound lanes of Loop 360, the center lane was closed for about 30 minutes due to an overturned recycling truck. The crash was cleared at approximately 7:20am.

Cement truck rollover crash near Howard Lane injured one

AUSTIN, TX- A cement truck rolled over on Monday afternoon, trapping and injuring one near Howard Lane, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
