UPDATE: Second driver in North Capital of Texas Highway crash succumbs to injuries

AUSTIN, TX- Officials have updated that the other driver involved in the fatal crash on North Capital of Texas Highway has died two weeks after the accident, according to CBS Austin.

On August 11, almost two weeks after the late July accident, the other driver of a Subaru involved in the accident near Pennybacker Bridge died. The victim, 22-year-old Adrian Maxey-Salomone, died at St. David’s South Austin Hospital. The accident originally occurred late July near the 4700 block of the roadway, and the other driver was pronounced dead shortly after.

UPDATE: Jeep found to have struck motorcyclist in fatal service road crash

AUSTIN, TX- As reported previously, officials have reported a Jeep to have struck the motorcyclist who died from an early Tuesday crash on the I-35 Service Road, according to CBS Austin.

The motorcyclist was hit and subsequently seriously injured by a Jeep driver at approximately 1:30am on the I-35 Service Road by 7th Street. Officials transported the victim to an area hospital, but they succumbed to their injuries and died shortly after.
