Man reported injured following head-on collision in Dessau

DESSAU, TX – A man was injured in a head-on collision in Dessau on Wednesday morning, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The collision happened on Dessau Road, near E Howard Lane and Fish Lane, at 11:34 a.m., then the driver of a white 2016 Nissan failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn.

The front of their vehicle then collided with the front end of a black 2013 Cadillac.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 48-year-old man, sustained possible injuries in the crash.

The other driver was not reported as injured.

Woman injured during two-vehicle collision in Dessau

DESSAU, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY) – One person sustained what are thought to be minor injuries during a two-vehicle accident in Dessau on Tuesday evening, according to MyAccidentReport.

The crash occurred in the 13400 block of Harrisglenn Drive just before 5:45 p.m., when the driver of a black 2013 Chevrolet was reportedly not paying enough attention to the roadway.

The back right of the Chevrolet was then struck by the front right of a white Kia.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 60-year-old woman, sustained what are suspected to be minor wounds during the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
