UPDATE: Second driver in North Capital of Texas Highway crash succumbs to injuries

AUSTIN, TX- Officials have updated that the other driver involved in the fatal crash on North Capital of Texas Highway has died two weeks after the accident, according to CBS Austin.

On August 11, almost two weeks after the late July accident, the other driver of a Subaru involved in the accident near Pennybacker Bridge died. The victim, 22-year-old Adrian Maxey-Salomone, died at St. David’s South Austin Hospital. The accident originally occurred late July near the 4700 block of the roadway, and the other driver was pronounced dead shortly after.

The accident is still under investigation. We will be monitoring for updates.

UPDATE: Young woman killed in July US 290 accident identified

AUSTIN, TX- A 21-year-old woman has been identified by police as the victim in a fatal crash on US 290 on July 11, according to KXAN.

The crash occurred on Sunday night at approximately 8:11pm. Camryn Adams, a 21-year-old woman, struck a median after losing control of her vehicle near the 5100 block of US 290 eastbound. The accident occurred near MoPac Expressway.

She was transported by EMS to an area hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after. One other person involved in the crash rejected medical care.

Man identified after being killed by accident while loading fallen cargo

AUSTIN, TX- The man killed last Tuesday while reloading fallen cargo onto his truck on East Ben White Boulevard has been identified, according to Fox 7 News Austin.

Miguel Guerrero-Garcia was in the shoulder of the 8300 block of East Ben White Boulevard when he was struck by a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. He had been reloading bags of mulch onto his vehicle after they had fallen. The Jeep had swerved into his lane due to an accident with another truck that caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Guerrero-Garcia was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

Victim identified in fatal south MoPac crash

AUSTIN, TX- As reported previously, the victim in the fatal crash that occurred last month near  the southern MoPac Expressway has been identified and confirmed to have died from accident-related injuries, according to KVUE Austin.

77-year-old Leslie Doleshal has been confirmed to be the individual who died from injuries related to a crash that occurred near the 11100 block of the Expressway. Doleshal was pulling out of a private drive and failed to yield to traffic in his Honda, resulting in a Toyota hitting the driver’s side of the vehicle. Doleshal was transported to an area hospital shortly after, but was confirmed to have died from his injuries at 4:05pm on July 3rd.

Person killed in single-vehicle crash on SH-130 in E Travis County

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – One person was killed late last night in a single-vehicle accident on State Highway 130 in eastern Travis County, according to KXAN.

The crash occurred at 12813 S SH-130 northbound at about 11:25 p.m., when a vehicle crashed, causing one person to be trapped within the wreckage.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

One person dies in two-vehicle accident in SE Travis Co.

AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, one person died Wednesday morning in an accident involving a semi-truck and passenger vehicle in Southeast Travis County.

The accident occurred on Farm to Market Road 1625 at approximately 2:38 a.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

FM 1625 and Highway 183 was temporarily closed and traffic was diverted to McKenzie Road.
