AUSTIN, TX – One person was left with critical injuries following a water rescue near Lake Travis at the Westwood Country Club Sunday evening.

According to the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS, the incident began around 5:45 p.m. at 3808 West 35th Street as one person was unresponsive and in need of resuscitation on a boat.

The victim, who was not publicly identified in the report, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening wounds.

Over 50 minutes of CPR and emergency, life-saving measures were administered to the victim.
