LUFKIN, TX – A Lufkin man has died following a single-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning, according to reports.
The crash happened on Farm-to-Market (FM) 256 in Tyler County at approximately 4:45 a.m.
The driver drifted off the road for unknown reasons, rolled over several times.
The passenger, 55-year-old Dietrich Hart, was not wearing a seatbelt, ejected from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at Tyler County Hospital where he was transported.
The driver, 51-year-old Robert Hadnot, was also transported to Tyler County Hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
