Two drivers injured in multi-vehicle crash on Highway 290

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 290 on Wednesday morning, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The collision happened on Hwy 290, west of State Highway 130 at 11 a.m., when the 22-year-old driver of a 2019 Chevrolet failed to maintain her attention on the roadway, then ran a red light.

Her vehicle then collided with a white 2012 Kia and a black 2009 Hyundai being driven by a 44-year-old woman.

The at-fault driver and the driver of the Kia, a 20-year-old man, suffered possible injuries in the crash.

The occupants of the Hyundai, including a 6-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl, were not hurt in the accident.

3 people hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash on Taylor Ln in Manor

MANOR, TX – Three people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision on Taylor Lane yesterday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.


The crash happened near the intersection of Taylor Lane and Blake Manor Road in Manor at 3:53 p.m., when multiple vehicles collided.

Two people were taken to Dell Seton and one person was taken to Dell Children’s for the treatment of non-critical injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately available.

Suspected drunk driver charged following fatal Manor crash

MANOR, TX – According to Fox7, a driver has been charged with murder for his role in a fatal crash on US-290 at FM 973.

The crash took place on November 11th at around 1:40 a.m. A Manor police officer witnessed the crash and stated that a pickup truck struck a sedan at full speed.

The pickup’s driver, Candelario Flores, 40, attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended. Flores has been charged with murder for his role in the crash. This is his fourth arrest for driving while under the influence.

The passenger in the sedan was killed in the crash, while its driver was hospitalized.
