AUSTIN, TX – Three individuals were hospitalized following a head-on collision north of downtown Austin Friday morning.

The collision occurred within the 600 block of East St. Johns Avenue at about 12:50 a.m., according to a report by CBS Austin.

Officials say the crash was caused by one driver traveling north in the southbound lanes and collided with two oncoming cars.

Three victims were rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.

It is not clear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.

Collision closes intersection in North Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin were forced to shut down a portion of Norwood Park Boulevard following a collision in the early evening hours Tuesday.

According to KXAN, the incident occurred on Norwood Park Blvd. near the intersection with Clock Tower Drive shortly before 4:00 p.m.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision. However, motorists have been advised to avoid the intersection throughout rush-hour as delays and closures are likely to be in place.

Afternoon collision reported in Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – Officials in Pflugerville responded to a collision near a residential neighborhood early Friday afternoon.

According to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page, the crash occurred shortly after 1:15 p.m. within the 16500 block of Cameron Road near the Magnolia Ranch Estates neighborhood.

No injures have been reported as a result of the collision. However, officials were forced to close this portion of Cameron Road for several hours Friday afternoon so that the crash could be safely investigated and cleared from the roadway.

One hospitalized following North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services in North Austin have responded to a multi-vehicle collision involving serious injuries on Research Boulevard Wednesday night.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the incident occurred at about 9:23 p.m. within the 9400 block of Research Blvd. Initial reports were of a patient being pinned inside their vehicle.

Officials were able to extract the individual and transport them to Dell Seton Medical Center to be treated for possibly life-threatening injuries. 2 Hospitalized following I-35 collision

AUSTIN, TX – Officials with Austin – Travis County emergency medical services transported two individuals to a local hospital following a crash along north Interstate 35 Monday afternoon.

According to the official Austin – Travis County EMS Twitter page, the incident occurred shortly after 1:10 p.m. within the 5500 block of North I-35 frontage road.

Officials transported one individual to Dell Seton Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries. Another victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Four others involved in the crash refused treatment at the scene.

UPDATE: Police identify teens killed in North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities with the Austin Police Department have identified two teens who died in a previously reported North Austin crash after running a traffic light in a stolen vehicle last Friday morning.

According to KXAN, Julian Murillo, 15, and Gabrial Marmolejo, 16 were driving a stolen Nissan Versa through the intersection of Cameron Road and East Anderson Lane. The two teens ran a red light and collided with another vehicle crossing the intersection.

One occupant in the Nissan was ejected from the vehicle. Both died at the scene of the crash shortly after. The driver in the vehicle that was crossing the intersection legally was taken to the hosptial to be treated for minor injures.

Austin Police say the investigation into this crash is still underway.

Multiple fatalities in North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Emergency Services in North Austin responded to a fatal collision near Anderson Lane early Friday morning.

According to KXAN, the collision occurred at the intersection of Cameron Road and East Anderson Lane around 3:30 a.m. The cause of the incident was due to one of the vehicles running a red light and colliding into the other at a high rate of speed.

Paramedics declared two patients deceased at the scene of the crash. One other was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Four people, including children injured in North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Two children and two adults were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident in North Austin late Thursday morning.

The crash happened within the 2600 block of the US Highway 290 frontage road. Upon arrival at the scene, officials noticed 5 individuals involved, one pinned inside of their vehicle, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Upon extracting the victim from their car, four victims were transported to a Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Accident blocks lane on North Austin road

AUSTIN, TX – Officials north of Austin are investigating a crash that closed a lane along West Palmer Lane Wednesday evening.

According to KXAN, the intersection of West Palmer Ln. and Farm to Market Road 620 near Ganzert Lake in North Austin. Officials have this portion of West Palmer Ln. blocked off and are advising motorists to find another route on to FM 620 during Wednesday evening rush hour.
