TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Officials in Travis County responded to the call of an overturned boat in the Colorado River west of Austin Friday evening.
According to Austin- Travis County EMS Twitter Page, the accident occurred at about 5:53 p.m. Friday near the Volente Beach Resort and Waterpark
The three occupants on flipped watercraft were assisted by witnesses on another passing boat. No injures were sustained as a result of the incident and officials were called off the scene before their arrival.

NACOGDOCHES, TX – A 10-year-old child had to be lifeflighted to a Fort Worth hospital on Wednesday after being struck by a jet ski at Lake Nacogdoches.
The Nacogdoches police department responded to a report of a boating accident on the west side of the lake at around 7:10 p.m.
After investigations by the Texas Game Wardens and law enforcement, it is believed that the child was was struck by another individual operating a jet ski near the bank and then fled the scene.
Later, law enforcement personnel found the jet ski abandoned on the west side of the lake.
No arrests have been made at this time.
